This is a time of high stress for many people. That may well be why you are here.
It is also important we maintain our mental health through this period. And I believe there is a way to balance our need for mental wellness and our joint responsibility for public health.
Like most people I am taking steps in my personal and professional life to support the public health, my own health, and that of those I work with professionally.
I know my work is valuable to many, now and in general. Whether it is the stress of the pandemic and all it disrupts in the day to day, or the challenges people were living with before this all began and will still face when it has passed. And remember, it will pass.
In accordance with direction from Dr. Bonnie Henry I have now moved my practice to phone or video service. This can be a great help through acute stresses and in addressing ongoing concerns. As always I'm prepared to have an initial 30 minute conversation with people without charge.
